Blasonia items are crafted from six components, dropped mostly by monsters: placing a component on a hero who already holds one combines them into a full item. There are twenty-one full items, one for each pair of components. Blessings, on the other hand, are chosen three times per match and strengthen your whole team or your economy. This page of the Blasonia guide has the exact recipes and effects. Blasonia is free on Windows PC: download it from the game page.

How items work
- A hero holds 3 items at most.
- A full item keeps the stats of its two components, increased by half, and adds its own effect. For example, the Greatblade (Sword + Sword) gives +45 damage and +40% damage against targets that are nearly dead.
- Components come from monster rounds (at least one per round, one more if you win from stage 2 onward) and from the Hero Market, where each hero comes with a component.
- Selling a hero returns its items to the item bench; merging moves them to the hero you keep.
Where to find components
- Monster rounds (rounds 1 to 3, then the last round of each stage): 1 component, plus 1 more if you win from stage 2 onward, and gold: 1 + the stage number if you win, 1 otherwise.
- Hero Market: every hero on offer comes with a component.
- Blessings: Blacksmith's Crate gives 2 components, Master's Armory gives 1 component and 6 gold.
- Season rule: Royal Forge makes monsters drop one more component.
Which item for which hero
- Guardians (Pip, Tordin, Gorbash, Ignar): Tower Shield to draw enemies in, Troll Hide, Iron Will against stuns, Phoenix Feather to get back up.
- Blades and Shadows: Vampire Fang, Greatblade, War Axe to hit adjacent enemies, Giant's Heart for critical strikes, which pairs very well with the Shadow synergy.
- Archers: Hunter's Horn, Longbow for range, Ember Quiver, Thorn Buckler.
- Arcanists and Priests: Moon Crown to cast the ability sooner, Storm Rod, Archmage's Tome, which recasts the spell, Runed Saber for critical spells, Staff of Life for healing.
Raider's Hook (Bow + Belt) earns 1 gold per takedown, 3 at most per fight: worth it early in the match, on a hero who attacks often.
Blessings
In stages 2, 3 and 4, during the second round, the game offers you three blessings; you keep one, and if time runs out, the first one is selected. Each season activates fifteen of them: four economy blessings, five combat blessings and six crests or emblems. Combat bonuses apply to your whole team. Here are the blessings of the current seasons:

A crest or an emblem counts as one extra hero in its synergy, as long as at least one hero of that synergy is already on the board: with it, three heroes are enough for tier 4. Tier effects are detailed on the synergies page.
Frequently asked questions
Can you remove an item from a hero?
Not directly: an item stays on its hero. To get it back, sell the hero; its items return to the item bench.
Which blessing should you choose?
Early in the match, an economy blessing (gold or experience) speeds up your progress. Later on, a combat blessing or a crest that completes a 4-hero synergy often has more impact. Gold management is explained on the how to play page.
How many items can you craft in a match?
It depends on the monster rounds you win and the heroes you take at the Hero Market. Expect a few full items per match: it's best to stack them on two or three key heroes, covered on the heroes page.
